6 Chocolate Projects to Carry You Through Spring

February 27, 2015

Every other Friday, Yossy Arefi from Apt. 2B Baking Co. shares dessert projects that demand a little extra time and effort. Because your weekends should always be sweet.

Today: It is time to go on a chocolate-based baking spree.

There is no better way to beat the winter blues than a baking project -- a chocolate baking project. Even with Spring around the corner, the farmers' market is starting to look a little glum and apples have been our go-to for months now. I barely even remember the taste of fresh stone fruit. Lucky for us, and our Friday night baking, chocolate is forever -- seriously, who needs diamonds? So wrap yourself in the comfort of a chocolate-filled batter, bask in the glory of dark chocolate ganache, and give yourself a gold star excuse to stay inside.

Chocolate is forever, it's like a little black dress, it suits every occasion, from winter decadent cakes to summer gelato!

where is the bowl/plate for the chocolate souffle from? It's stunning and I can't find it in the Provisions shop!

I believe it's from West Elm.

I just realized it's a ramekin sitting on a plate, I initially saw it as one large plate with a bowl built into the center. Thanks anyway!
