But of coarse.

Pair your KitchenAid stand mixer with this metal food grinder attachment, and we can guarantee one thing: You won’t be settling for regular ol’ ground beef from now on. It lets you prep next-level burgers, sausage, meatballs, and more from any cut of meat, be it turkey, beef, or bison. (The metal’s great for chilling in the fridge first so you get a clean grind.) It doesn’t stop at meat, either. Cauliflower rice, salsa, falafel, Parmesan flakes, and bread crumbs are all fair game too. When can we start?

The Metal Food Grinder attachment works with any KitchenAid stand mixer, including their Artisan Series tilt-head mixer and Professional Series 600 bowl-lift mixer. It comes with a metal food grinder, a removable food tray, three grinding plates (fine, medium, and coarse), a cleaning brush, a food pusher, two sausage stuffer tubes (small and large), and a sausage stuffer plate.

The fine grinding plate is great for hard cheese, bread crumbs, and cooked meats for spreads. The medium grinding plate is your best bet for raw or cooked meat, along with meat for sausages. And the coarse grinding plate? That’s for raw meat for burgers and chili, and for vegetables that’ll be going in salsas and sauces.

The small sausage stuffer tube preps smaller sausages such as breakfast sausage. Meanwhile, the large sausage stuffer tube makes larger sausages like bratwurst.

Meet the Maker

KitchenAid

Tustin, CA
They need no introduction, but we’ll give ‘em one anyway: Kitchenaid got their start back in 1919 when they launched—you guessed it—a very-versatile stand mixer. By 1937, it had evolved into the iconic workhorse that home cooks the world over know and love. And now? They’re making a whole lineup of small appliances for every task under the sun (blending, shredding, brewing, you name it).
